Notification 2020

In exercise of the powers conferred by section 53 of the Planning Act, the Minister for National Development makes the following Notification:

Citation and commencement

1. This Notification is the Planning (Payment of Development Charge by Charity — Exemption) Notification 2020 and comes into operation on 8 January 2020.

Exemption

2. The Minister exempts Lots 02436C and 02434X of MK 25 at 4 Sandy Lane from section 37(3) of the Act and rule 14 of the Planning (Development Charges) Rules (R 5) with regard to the development of the said land which is the subject of the application for written permission submitted by The Titular Roman Catholic Archbishop of Singapore to the competent authority on 26 September 2019.
