Application for licence, etc.
3.—(1) Every application for a licence shall be submitted in Form A in the First Schedule, in duplicate, to the Licensing Officer.
(2) Where an application for a licence is made by a company or firm, the application shall be made jointly with the person to whom the company or firm desires the licence to be issued.
(3) Every licence —
(a)
shall be in Form B in the First Schedule;
(b)
shall be valid for such period not exceeding 3 months as the Licensing Officer may, in his discretion, specify in the licence; and
(c)
may be renewed, at the discretion of the Licensing Officer, for such period as the Licensing Officer may approve.

3.—(1) Subject to paragraph (1A) —
(a)
every application for a licence shall be made using the electronic application service provided by the Licensing Officer; and
(b)
the form prescribed for such an application shall be the electronic form provided for the electronic application service at https://licences.business.gov.sg.

(1A) In the event of a malfunction or failure of the electronic application service, the application shall be in Form A in the First Schedule.
