Private Hospitals and Medical Clinics (Exemption) Notification 2002

In exercise of the powers conferred by section 21 of the Private Hospitals and Medical Clinics Act, the Minister for Health hereby makes the following Notification:

Citation and commencement

1. This Notification may be cited as the Private Hospitals and Medical Clinics (Exemption) Notification 2002 and shall come into operation on 3rd June 2002.

Exemption

2. The Minister hereby exempts every hospital set out in the Schedule from regulation 24(3) of the Private Hospitals and Medical Clinics Regulations (Rg 1, 2002 Ed.), subject to such conditions as may be imposed in the letter of approval issued by the Director in respect of the hospital.

Revocation

3. Exemption Order No. 4489 published in the Government Gazette on 29th December 1995 is revoked.
