Postal Services (Composition of Offences) Regulations 2000

In exercise of the powers conferred by sections 51 and 61 of the Postal Services Act 1999, the Info-communications Development Authority of Singapore appointed as the Postal Authority, with the approval of the Minister for Communications and Information Technology, hereby makes the following Regulations:

Citation and commencement

1. These Regulations may be cited as the Postal Services (Composition of Offences) Regulations 2000 and shall come into operation on 5th June 2000.

Compoundable offences

2. Offences under sections 16 (4) and (7), 17(3) and 33 of the Act may be compounded by the Postal Authority in accordance with section 51(1) of the Act.
