(Excluded Precious Products)
Regulations 2019

In exercise of the powers conferred by section 39 of the Precious Stones and Precious Metals (Prevention of Money Laundering and Terrorism Financing) Act 2019, the Minister for Law makes the following Regulations:

Citation and commencement

1. These Regulations are the Precious Stones and Precious Metals (Excluded Precious Products) Regulations 2019 and come into operation on 10 April 2019.

Excluded precious products

2. For the purposes of the definition of “precious product” in section 2 of the Act, the following classes of products are not precious products:

(a)	any machinery, tool or equipment used for industrial purposes;
(b)	any medical device within the meaning given by item 1 of the First Schedule to the Health Products Act (Cap. 122D).
