PART I
PRELIMINARY
Citation
1.  These Regulations may be cited as the Public Utilities (Licence to Use or Operate Electrical or Supply Installations) Regulations.
Definitions
2.  In these Regulations, unless the context otherwise requires —
“Authority” means the Energy Market Authority of Singapore established under the Energy Market Authority of Singapore Act (Cap. 92B);

“electrical worker” means an electrical worker who is licensed as such by the Authority under section 82 of the Electricity Act (Cap. 89A);

“licence” means a licence to use, work or operate or permit to be used, worked or operated, or to supply to or for the use of any other person electricity from an electrical installation or a supply installation, as the case may be;
“licensee” means a person to whom a licence is granted under these Regulations.
