Police Officers to Exercise Powers of Deputy Commissioner of Police

The Deputy Commissioner of Police has authorised —
(a)the Field Officers of the Traffic Police Department to exercise the powers vested in the Deputy Commissioner of Police by section 85 of the Act; and
(b)the following police officers of the Traffic Police Department to exercise the powers vested in the Deputy Commissioner of Police by sections 85, 87, 94, 95 and 123 of the Act or by any rules made under section 123:
(i)the Commander, the Head (Operations) and the Head (Administration);
(ii)the Head (Traffic Investigation), the Deputy Head (Traffic Investigation), the Chief Investigation Officers and the Investigation Officers;
(iii)the Officer-in-Charge Violation Reports and the Violation Reports Officers; and
(iv)the Officer-in-Charge Traffic Patrol and the Deputy Officer-in-Charge Traffic Patrol.
