Citation
1.  These Rules may be cited as the Road Traffic (Recovery of Vehicle Licence Fees and Costs) Rules.
Warrant for recovery of fee and fees for towing and transportation of vehicles
2.—(1)  A warrant issued by the Registrar under section 30(3) of the Act for the recovery of any fee (including any additional fee under section 21 of the Act), payable in respect of a licence for a vehicle which has remained unpaid, by seizure and sale of the vehicle shall be in the form set out in the First Schedule.

(2)  The fee payable for the issue of such warrant shall be $15.
(3)  The Registrar may in his discretion waive the fee referred to in paragraph (2).
(4)  The following fees shall be payable to the Registrar for the towing or transportation of vehicles seized under a warrant:
(a)Motor cycles, scooters, tricycles, trishaws and handcarts
$60
(b)Motor cars
$160
(c)Motor vehicles not falling within any of the abovementioned categories
$360.
Storage charge
3.—(1)  Where a vehicle has been seized under section 30, 95 or 95A of the Act, a storage charge at the rates specified in the second column of the Second Schedule shall be payable by the registered owner or any person who was at the time of seizure in charge or control of the vehicle for each day or part thereof during which the vehicle is in the Registrar’s possession.
(2)  The Registrar may in his discretion waive, in whole or in part, the storage charge referred to in paragraph (1).
