Securities Industry (Exempt Stock Market)
Declaration 2002

In exercise of the powers conferred by section 15(2) of the Securities Industry Act, the Deputy Prime Minister, Lee Hsien Loong, hereby makes the following Declaration:

Citation and commencement

1. This Declaration may be cited as the Securities Industry (Exempt Stock Market) Declaration 2002 and shall come into operation on 16th May 2002.

Exemption

2. The Bloomberg Tradebook system established or maintained by Bloomberg Tradebook Singapore Pte Ltd for the purposes of providing a stock market for the electronic trading of securities is hereby declared to be an exempt stock market for the purposes of the Act, subject to the conditions specified in writing by the Monetary Authority of Singapore.
