Broadcasting (Composition of Offences) Regulations 2004

In exercise of the powers conferred by section 57 (2) of the Broadcasting Act, the Media Development Authority of Singapore, with the approval of the Minister for Information, Communications and the Arts, hereby makes the following Regulations:

Citation and commencement

1. These Regulations may be cited as the Broadcasting (Composition of Offences) Regulations 2004 and shall come into operation on 21st June 2004.

Compoundable offence

2. The offence under section 47 of the Act may be compounded by the Authority in accordance with section 57 (1) of the Act.

Revocation

3. The Broadcasting (Composition of Offences) Regulations (Rg 2, 2004 Ed.) are revoked.

Made this 11th day of June 2004.
