Slaughter-houses (Fees) Rules

Citation
1.  These Rules may be cited as the Slaughter-houses (Fees) Rules.
Fees
2.  There shall be leviable at the office of the Director of Primary Production the following fees:
(a)for a poultry slaughter-house licence
 $800 per annum
(b)for a livestock slaughter-house licence
 $4,000 per annum
(c)for renewal of a livestock slaughter-house licence
 $1,200 per annum
(d)for a licence to slaughter sheep, goats or pigs other than at a licensed slaughter-house
 $25 per licence plus a fee of $5 per animal slaughtered

Additional fee
3.  Owners of pigs, sheep, goats and cattle slaughtered at a slaughter-house shall pay to the licensee of the slaughter-house, who will collect on behalf of the Director of Primary Production, a fee of 90 cents for each animal inspected by officers of the Primary Production Department.
