DUTIES OF LICENSED TELECOMMUNICATION CABLE DETECTION WORKERS
Duties of licensee
8.  Every licensee shall —
(a)carry out any telecommunication cable detection work that he is permitted to carry out under his licence in accordance with the conditions of his licence and the provisions of the Act and these Regulations;
(b)on being required by the Authority or a telecommunication system licensee or any person authorised by the Authority or the telecommunication system licensee for this purpose, produce his licence for examination and furnish such information required by it relating to his performance of any telecommunication cable detection work;
(c)if he knows or ought reasonably to know of any damage to any telecommunication cable belonging to, or under the management or control of, a telecommunication system licensee, immediately inform the telecommunication system licensee of the damage by the quickest practicable means;
(d)immediately inform the Authority in writing of any change in his address; and
(e)attend at such place as the Authority, or any person authorised by the Authority, may specify to produce such documents or furnish such information as the Authority or that person may require for the purpose of ensuring compliance with the provisions of the Act and these Regulations.
Tests and examinations
9.  For the purpose of ensuring that a licensee is competent to carry out telecommunication cable detection work, the Authority may, at any time by notice in writing, require the licensee to attend at such time and place specified in the notice to take and successfully complete such tests or examinations as the Authority may require.
