| Town Council of Aljunied (Penalties for Late Payment of Conservancy and Service Charges and Licence Fees) By-laws 2002 |

| Citation and commencement |
| 1. These By-laws may be cited as the Town Council of Aljunied (Penalties for Late Payment of Conservancy and Service Charges and Licence Fees) By-laws 2002 and shall come into operation on 1st April 2002. |
| Calculation of penalties for conservancy and service charges and licence fees in arrears |
| 2. Where any conservancy and service charge or licence fee payable by any tenant, owner or licensee to the Town Council of Aljunied is in arrears, the tenant, owner or licensee shall be liable to pay to the Town Council for every month in which the charge or fee is in arrears a penalty at the appropriate rate set out in the Schedule. |
| Application of payment |
| 3. The Town Council may, in its discretion, apply any moneys paid by the tenant, owner or licensee towards the payment of the amount of any penalty payable under these By-laws and apply any balance thereof towards payment of the amount of any outstanding conservancy and service charge or licence fee. |
| Remission |
| 4. The Town Council may, in its discretion, remit wholly or in part any penalty payable under these By-laws. |
| Revocation |
| 5. The Town Council of Aljunied (Penalties for Late Payment of Conservancy and Service Charges) By-laws (By 17) are revoked. |
