(Composition of Offences)
(Amendment) Regulations 2023
In exercise of the powers conferred by section 93 of the Electricity Act 2001, the Energy Market Authority of Singapore, with the approval of the Minister for Trade and Industry, makes the following Regulations:
Citation and commencement
1.  These Regulations are the Electricity (Composition of Offences) (Amendment) Regulations 2023 and come into operation on 1 August 2023.
Amendment of regulation 2
2.  In the Electricity (Composition of Offences) Regulations (Rg 2), in regulation 2, after “Schedule”, insert “(other than any continuing offence)”.
Amendment of Schedule
3.  In the Electricity (Composition of Offences) Regulations, in the Schedule, replace item 1 with —
“1.Sections 72(2), 79(5) (in relation to subsection (1)), 80(7), 82(7), 83(4), (5) and (7), 84, 85(1) and 87(1) of the Act.”.
