(Tour de Care 2024 — Exemption)
Order 2024
In exercise of the powers conferred by section 142 of the Road Traffic Act 1961, the Minister for Home Affairs makes the following Order:
Citation and period in force
1.—(1)  This Order is the Road Traffic (Tour de Care 2024 — Exemption) Order 2024.
(2)  This Order is in force on 30 March 2024 starting 2 a.m. and ending 9 a.m.
Definitions
2.  In this Order —
“specified event” means the Tour de Care 2024 event organised by UNMARKED EVENTS PTE. LTD. (UEN 202116851Z) on 30 March 2024;
“specified road” means any of the roads delineated by the black‑coloured lines in the map set out in the Schedule.
Exemption for riding bicycle
3.  Rules 5, 6, 7, 7A, 8, 10 and 11 of the Road Traffic (Bicycles, Three‑wheeled Pedal Cycles, Trishaws and Recumbent Devices — Road Conduct) Rules (R 3) do not apply to an individual who rides a bicycle on a specified road during and in connection with the specified event.
