In exercise of the powers conferred by section 8 of the Medical and Elderly Care Endowment Schemes Act 2000, the Minister for Health makes the following Notification:

Citation and commencement

1.—(1) This Notification is the Medical and Elderly Care Endowment Schemes (Approved Institutions) (Amendment No. 2) Notification 2024 and, except for paragraph 2(b), is deemed to have come into operation on 2 February 2024.

(2) Paragraph 2(b) is deemed to have come into operation on 28 December 2023.

Amendment of Schedule

2. In the Medical and Elderly Care Endowment Schemes (Approved Institutions) Notification 2016 (G.N. No. S 2/2016), in the Schedule —

(a)

replace items 60 and 61 with —

“60.	Precious Homes (formerly known as Pacific Healthcare Nursing Home (Bukit Merah))

61.	Precious Homes Bukit Panjang (formerly known as Pacific Healthcare Nursing Home II)”; and

(b)

replace item 203 with —

“203.
