(Foreign Practitioner Examinations)
(Amendment) Rules 2024

In exercise of the powers conferred by section 10(1) and (2) of the Legal Profession Act 1966, the Board of Directors of the Singapore Institute of Legal Education, after consulting the Minister for Law and the Council of the Law Society of Singapore, makes the following Rules:

Citation and commencement

1. These Rules are the Legal Profession (Foreign Practitioner Examinations) (Amendment) Rules 2024 and come into operation on 20 May 2024.

Amendment of Schedule

2. In the Legal Profession (Foreign Practitioner Examinations) Rules 2011 (G.N. No. S 553/2011), in the Schedule —

(a)	in the Schedule heading, delete “(INCLUSIVE OF GOODS AND SERVICES TAX)”;
(b)	in item 1, replace “$324” with “$327”;
(c)	in item 2, replace “$216” with “$218”;
(d)	in item 3, replace “$7,776” with “$7,848”; and
(e)	in item 4, replace “$540” with “$545”.
