An Act to amend the Tourist Promotion Board Act (Chapter 205 of the Revised Edition). |
Be it enacted by the President with the advice and consent of the Parliament of Singapore, as follows: — |
Short title |
1. This Act may be cited as the Tourist Promotion Board (Amendment) Act, 1975. |
Amendment of long title |
2. The long title to the Tourist Promotion Board Act (hereinafter in this Act referred to as “the principal Act”) is hereby amended by inserting immediately before the word “Tourist” appearing in the first line thereof the word “Singapore”. |
Amendment of section 2 |
3. Section 2 of the principal Act is hereby amended —

Amendment of section 3 |
3. Section 3 of the principal Act is hereby amended by deleting the word “Tourist” appearing in the second line of subsection (1) thereof and substituting therefor the words “Singapore Tourist”. |
Repeal of section 15A |
4. Section 15A of the principal Act is hereby repealed. |
Repeal and re-enactment of section 16 |
5. Section 16 of the principal Act is hereby repealed and the following substituted therefor: —

Amendment of section 19C |
6. Section 19C of the principal Act is hereby amended by inserting immediately before the word “Schedule” appearing in subsection (1) thereof and in the marginal reference thereto the word “First”. |
Amendment of the Schedule |
7. The Schedule to the principal Act is hereby amended by deleting the word “THE” appearing in the heading thereto and substituting therefor the word “FIRST”. |
New Schedule |
8. The principal Act is hereby amended by inserting immediately after the First Schedule thereto the following new Schedule: —
