(Amendment) Rules 2024

In exercise of the powers conferred by section 45 of the Newspaper and Printing Presses Act 1974, the Minister for Communications and Information makes the following Rules:

Citation and commencement

1. These Rules are the Newspaper and Printing Presses (Applications and Permits) (Amendment) Rules 2024 and come into operation on 8 July 2024.

Amendment of Schedule

2. In the Newspaper and Printing Presses (Applications and Permits) Rules 2004 (G.N. No. S 302/2004), in the Schedule, replace “Ministry of Information, Communications and the Arts” with “Ministry of Digital Development and Information”.
