1. These Rules are the Supreme Court (Presidential Elections) (Application for Avoidance of Election) (Amendment) Rules 2022 and come into operation on 1 April 2022. |

2. Rule 2 of the Supreme Court (Presidential Elections) (Application for Avoidance of Election) Rules (R 7) (called in these Rules the principal Rules) is amended —

Amendment of rule 36 |
3. Rule 36(3) of the principal Rules is amended by deleting the words “Order 91 of the Rules of Court (R 5)” and substituting the words “Order 25 of the Rules of Court 2021 (G.N. No. S 914/2021)”. |
