(Ministerial Responsibility) (Amendment No. 7)
Notification 2024

In exercise of the powers conferred by Article 30 of the Constitution of the Republic of Singapore, the Prime Minister makes the following Notification:

Citation and commencement

1. This Notification is the Constitution of the Republic of Singapore (Ministerial Responsibility) (Amendment No. 7) Notification 2024 and comes into operation on 8 July 2024.

Amendment of First Schedule

2. In the Constitution of the Republic of Singapore (Ministerial Responsibility) Notification 2024 (G.N. No. S 470/2024) (called in this Notification the principal Notification), in the First Schedule —

(a)	in item 12, in the first column, replace “Minister for Communications and Information” with “Minister for Digital Development and Information”;
(b)	in item 12, in the second column, in paragraph 1, replace “Communications and Information” with “Digital Development and Information”; and
(c)	in item 20, in the first column, replace “Ministry of Communications and Information” with “Ministry of Digital Development and Information”.

Amendment of Second Schedule

3. In the principal Notification, in the Second Schedule, under the heading “Subjects”, in item 5(2), delete sub‑paragraph (a).

Amendment of Fifth Schedule

4. In the principal Notification, in the Fifth Schedule —

(a)

replace the Schedule heading with —

“DIGITAL DEVELOPMENT AND INFORMATION”; and

(b)

under the heading “Departments”, replace item 2 with —

“2.	Ministry of Digital Development and Information”.

Amendment of Eleventh Schedule

5. In the principal Notification, in the Eleventh Schedule, under the heading “Subjects” —

(a)	in item 1(8), replace “, 10A and 11” with “and 10A”; and
(b)	in item 13, replace “Minister responsible for communications and information” with “Minister responsible for digital development and information”.
