(Special and Senior Personnel Boards)
(Amendment) Order 2024

In exercise of the powers conferred by Article 110D(1) and (2) of the Constitution of the Republic of Singapore, the President, on the advice of Mr Chan Chun Sing, the Minister charged with the responsibility for public sector personnel and personnel‑development policies, makes the following Order:

Citation and commencement

1. This Order is the Public Service (Special and Senior Personnel Boards) (Amendment) Order 2024 and comes into operation on 1 June 2024.

Amendment of First Schedule

2. In the Public Service (Special and Senior Personnel Boards) Order 2010 (G.N. No. S 824/2010), in the First Schedule —

(a)

in item 2, in the second column, in paragraph (a), delete “, the Smart Nation and Digital Government Office”;

(b)

in item 2, in the second column, in paragraph (b), after “posts in”, insert “the Ministry of Communications and Information (including the Cyber Security Agency and the Smart Nation Group),”;

(c)

in item 2, in the second column, in paragraph (c), replace sub‑paragraphs (ii) and (iii) with —

“(ii)	the Information Service;
(iii)	the Information (2002) Service;
(iv)	the Statistician (Trade and Industry) Service; or
(v)	the Economist Service.”;

(d)

in item 2, in the third column, after “Mr Augustin Lee”, insert “Mr Chng Kai Fong”;

(e)

in item 3, in the second column, in paragraph (b), replace “and the Smart Nation and Digital Government Office” with “, the Cyber Security Agency and the Smart Nation Group”;

(f)

in item 4, in the second column, in paragraph (a), delete “the Ministry of Communications and Information,”;

(g)

in item 4, in the second column, delete paragraph (b);

(h)

in item 4, in the third column, delete “Mr Joseph Leong Weng Keong”; and

(i)

in item 4, in the third column, delete “Mr Chng Kai Fong”.

Amendment of Second Schedule

3. In the Public Service (Special and Senior Personnel Boards) Order 2010, in the Second Schedule —

(a)	in item 1, in the second column, in paragraph (a), delete “, the Smart Nation and Digital Government Office”;
(b)	in item 1, in the second column, in paragraph (b), after “posts in”, insert “the Ministry of Communications and Information (including the Cyber Security Agency and the Smart Nation Group),”;
(c)	in item 2, in the second column, in paragraph (d), replace “and the Smart Nation and Digital Government Office” with “, the Cyber Security Agency and the Smart Nation Group”; and
(d)	in item 3, in the second column, in paragraph (a), delete “the Ministry of Communications and Information,”.
