Order 2024

In exercise of the powers conferred by section 14 of the Medical and Elderly Care Endowment Schemes Act 2020, the Minister for Health makes the following Order:

Citation and commencement

1.—(1) This Order is the Medical and Elderly Care Endowment Schemes (Medifund Committees) (Amendment No. 2) Order 2024 and, except for paragraph 2(b), is deemed to have come into operation on 2 February 2024.

(2) Paragraph 2(b) is deemed to have come into operation on 28 December 2023.

Amendment of Schedule

2. In the Medical and Elderly Care Endowment Schemes (Medifund Committees) Order 2015 (G.N. No. S 361/2015), in the Schedule, in Part 1, in item 1, in the second column —

(a)

replace items (23) and (24) with —

“(23)

Precious Homes (formerly known as Pacific Healthcare Nursing Home (Bukit Merah))

(24)	Precious Homes Bukit Panjang (formerly known as Pacific Healthcare Nursing Home II)”; and

(b)

replace item (69) with —

“(69) Lentor Health Nursing Home (West Coast)”.
