Newspaper and Printing Presses (Exemption) (Amendment) Order 2009
In exercise of the powers conferred by section 44(1) of the Newspaper and Printing Presses Act, RAdm (NS) Lui Tuck Yew, Senior Minister of State, charged with the responsibility of the Minister for Information, Communications and the Arts, hereby makes the following Order:
Citation and commencement
1.  This Order may be cited as the Newspaper and Printing Presses (Exemption) (Amendment) Order 2009 and shall come into operation on 28th December 2009.
Amendment of Schedule
2.  Part I of the Schedule to the Newspaper and Printing Presses (Exemption) Order 2005 (G.N. No. S 380/2005) is amended —
(a)by inserting, immediately after item 3, the following item:
3A.  Board of Architects”;
(b)by inserting, immediately after item 4, the following item:
4A.  Casino Regulatory Authority of Singapore”;
(c)by inserting, immediately after item 8, the following item:
8A.  Council for Private Education”;
(d)by inserting, immediately after item 14, the following item:
14A.  Hotels Licensing Board”;
(e)by inserting, immediately after item 38, the following items:
38A.  Professional Engineers Board
38B.  Public Transport Council”;
(f)by inserting, immediately after item 43, the following item:
43A.  Singapore Dental Council”;
(g)by inserting, immediately after item 46, the following item:
46A.  Singapore Medical Council”;
(h)by inserting, immediately after item 47, the following item:
47A.  Singapore Pharmacy Council”; and
(i)by inserting, immediately after item 54, the following item:
54A.  Traditional Chinese Medicine Practitioners Board”.
