(Cycling Without Age — Exemption)
(Amendment No. 2) Order 2023

In exercise of the powers conferred by section 66 of the Active Mobility Act 2017, the Minister for Transport makes the following Order:

Citation and commencement

1. This Order is the Active Mobility (Cycling Without Age — Exemption) (Amendment No. 2) Order 2023 and comes into operation on 24 June 2023.

Amendment of paragraph 3

2. In the Active Mobility (Cycling Without Age — Exemption) Order 2021 (G.N. No. S 676/2021), in paragraph 3 —

(a)

in sub-paragraph (2), replace sub-paragraph (b) with —

“(b)	for the specified routes in Part 2 of the Schedule — from 9.30 a.m. to 8 p.m. on a weekday, Saturday or Sunday;
(ba)	for the specified routes in Part 3 of the Schedule — from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. on a weekday, Saturday or Sunday;”;

(b)

in sub-paragraph (2), after sub-paragraph (d), insert —

“(da)

for the specified routes in Part 7 of the Schedule — from 9.30 a.m. to 5.30 p.m. on a weekday, Saturday or Sunday;”;

(c)

in sub-paragraph (2), in sub-paragraph (g), replace the full‑stop at the end with a semi-colon;

(d)

in sub-paragraph (2), after sub-paragraph (g), insert —

“(h)	for the specified route in Part 12 of the Schedule — from 9.30 a.m. to 4.30 p.m. on a weekday, except on the eve of a public holiday or a public holiday.”; and

(e)

in sub-paragraph (3)(c), replace “Parts 10 and 11” with “Parts 10, 11 and 12”.
