(Amendment of First and
Second Schedules) Order 2024
In exercise of the powers conferred by section 82(1) of the Prisons Act 1933, the Minister for Home Affairs makes the following Order:
Citation and commencement
1.  This Order is the Prisons Act 1933 (Amendment of First and Second Schedules) Order 2024 and comes into operation on 1 June 2024.
Amendment of First Schedule
2.  In the Prisons Act 1933, in the First Schedule, in item 6, after paragraph (15), insert —
“(15A)Section 11F
 
Trafficking in psychoactive substance

Manufacture of psychoactive substance

Import and export of psychoactive substance

Possession and consumption of psychoactive substance

Responsibilities of owners, tenants, etc.

Arranging or planning gatherings where psychoactive substances are to be consumed or trafficked

Exposing child to psychoactive substance, etc.

Permitting young person to consume psychoactive substance, etc.

Introducing psychoactive substance trafficker to another person

Amendment of Second Schedule
3.  In the Prisons Act 1933, in the Second Schedule, in paragraph (5), replace “section 5” with “section 5, 7, 11F or 11H”.
