(Energy Management Practices)
(Amendment) Regulations 2022

In exercise of the powers conferred by section 78(1) of the Energy Conservation Act 2012, the Minister for Sustainability and the Environment makes the following Regulations:

Citation and commencement

1.—(1) These Regulations are the Energy Conservation (Energy Management Practices) (Amendment) Regulations 2022 and, except for regulation 3, come into operation on 1 August 2022.

(2) Regulation 3 is deemed to have come into operation on 31 December 2021.

Amendment of regulation 7F

2. In regulation 7F of the Energy Conservation (Energy Management Practices) Regulations 2013 (G.N. No. S 246/2013) (definition of “gross floor area”), replace “rule 2(1) of the Planning (Development Charges) Rules (Cap. 232, R 5)” with “rule 2 of the Planning (Development) Rules 2008 (G.N. No. S 113/2008)”.

Miscellaneous amendments

3. In the Energy Conservation (Energy Management Practices) Regulations 2013 —

(a)

in the following provisions, replace “(Cap. 29)” with “1989”:

Regulation 7E(2)

Regulation 7F (definition of “certificate of statutory completion”);

(b)

in regulation 7F (paragraph (b) of the definition of “qualified person”), replace “(Cap. 253)” with “1991”;

(c)

in regulation 7F (definition of “temporary occupation permit”), after “Building Control Act”, insert “1989”; and

(d)

in regulation 7G(a), replace “(Cap. 232)” with “1998”.
