Immigration
(Amendment) Regulations 2019
In exercise of the powers conferred by section 55(1) of the Immigration Act, the Minister for Home Affairs makes the following Regulations:
Citation and commencement
1.  These Regulations are the Immigration (Amendment) Regulations 2019 and come into operation on 1 April 2019.
Amendment of Sixth Schedule
2.  The Sixth Schedule to the Immigration Regulations (Rg 1) is amended —
(a)by deleting “$60” in the second column of item 3(a) and substituting “$105”;
(b)by deleting “$150” in the second column of item 3(b) and substituting “$225”;
(c)by inserting, immediately after the words “Visit pass” in the first column of item 4, the words “other than a visit pass mentioned in item 4A”; and
(d)by inserting, immediately after item 4, the following item:
 
“4A.Visit pass applied, issued or replaced on the basis of the applicant’s relationship with a holder of a work pass issued under section 7 of the Employment of Foreign Manpower Act (Cap. 91A):
 
 
 
(a)application for visit pass valid for 90 days or more
 
$105
 
(b)application for extension of validity of visit pass by 90 days or more
 
$105
 
(c)issuance of visit pass valid for 90 days or more
 
$225
 
(d)issuance of extension of visit pass for less than 90 days, but 90 or more days have elapsed since the first grant of visit pass
 
$40
 
(e)issuance of extension of visit pass for 90 days or more
 
$225
 
(f)replacement of lost visit pass valid for 90 days or more:
 
 
 
(i)first replacement
 
$100
 
(ii)second or subsequent replacement
 
$300
 
(g)replacement of visit pass valid for 90 days or more due to damage, defacement or change of particulars
 
$60”.
Saving provision
3.  Despite regulation 2, items 3 and 4 of the Sixth Schedule to the Immigration Regulations as in force immediately before 1 April 2019 continue to apply to any application made before 1 April 2019 for —
(a)any dependant’s pass or visit pass; or
(b)any extension of any visit pass.
