Merchant Shipping
(Discharge Books) (Amendment)
Regulations 2023
In exercise of the powers conferred by section 90 of the Merchant Shipping Act 1995, the Maritime and Port Authority of Singapore, with the approval of the Minister for Transport, makes the following Regulations:
Citation and commencement
1.  These Regulations are the Merchant Shipping (Discharge Books) (Amendment) Regulations 2023 and come into operation on 1 January 2024.
Amendment of regulation 5
2.  In the Merchant Shipping (Discharge Books) Regulations (Rg 20), in regulation 5(a), after “Schedule”, insert “(except item 8)”.
Amendment of Schedule  
3.  In the Merchant Shipping (Discharge Books) Regulations, in the Schedule, in item 1, after “Name”, insert “and sex”.
