(Amendment No. 2) Order 2017
In exercise of the powers conferred by section 9 of the Parking Places Act, the Minister for Transport makes the following Order:
Citation and commencement
1.  This Order is the Parking Places (Urban Redevelopment Authority) (Amendment No. 2) Order 2017 and comes into operation on 1 November 2017.
Amendment of Schedule
2.  The Schedule to the Parking Places (Urban Redevelopment Authority) Order (O 2) is amended —
(a)by deleting Part 33 and substituting the following Part:
 
“PART 33
 
Parking Charges:
 
   (1)  For a motor car or a motor vehicle the weight of which unladen does not exceed 1,800 kilograms —
 
(a)Mondays to Saturdays:
 
(i)pro-rated on a per minute basis at the rate of $1.30 per half hour (between 7 a.m. and 11 a.m.).
 
(ii)pro-rated on a per minute basis at the rate of $1.50 per half hour (between 11 a.m. and 5 p.m.).
 
(iii)pro-rated on a per minute basis at the rate of 80 cents per half hour (between 5 p.m. and 10.30 p.m.).
 
(iv)pro-rated on a per minute basis at the rate of 70 cents per half hour (between 10.30 p.m. and 7 a.m. the following day), or $5.60 per entry per night (between 10.30 p.m. and 7 a.m. the following day), whichever is the lower.
 
(b)Sundays and Public Holidays:
 
(i)pro-rated on a per minute basis at the rate of 70 cents per half hour (between 7 a.m. and 11 a.m.).
 
(ii)pro-rated on a per minute basis at the rate of 80 cents per half hour (between 11 a.m. and 10.30 p.m.).
 
(iii)pro-rated on a per minute basis at the rate of 70 cents per half hour (between 10.30 p.m. and 7 a.m. the following day), or $5.60 per entry per night (between 10.30 p.m. and 7 a.m. the following day), whichever is the lower.
 
   (2)  For a motor vehicle with fewer than 4 wheels and the weight of which unladen does not exceed 400 kilograms —
 
(a)pro-rated on a per minute basis at the rate of 10 cents per half hour (between 7 a.m. and 10.30 p.m.), or 65 cents per day (between 7 a.m. and 10.30 p.m.), whichever is the lower.
 
(b)pro-rated on a per minute basis at the rate of 10 cents per half hour (between 10.30 p.m. and 7 a.m. the following day), or 65 cents per night (between 10.30 p.m. and 7 a.m. the following day), whichever is the lower.
 
(c)$15 per month.
 
   (3)  For a motor cycle or a motor scooter occupying 2 motor cycle parking lots and the weight of which unladen does not exceed 400 kilograms —
 
(a)pro-rated on a per minute basis at the rate of 20 cents per half hour (between 7 a.m. and 10.30 p.m.), or $1.30 per day (between 7 a.m. and 10.30 p.m.), whichever is the lower.
 
(b)pro-rated on a per minute basis at the rate of 20 cents per half hour (between 10.30 p.m. and 7 a.m. the following day), or $1.30 per night (between 10.30 p.m. and 7 a.m. the following day), whichever is the lower.
 
(c)$30 per month.
 
   (4)  For a motor vehicle (not being a motor car) the weight of which unladen exceeds 1,800 kilograms —
 
(a)Mondays to Saturdays:
 
(i)pro-rated on a per minute basis at the rate of $2.60 per half hour (between 7 a.m. and 11 a.m.).

   (2)  For a motor vehicle with fewer than 4 wheels and the weight of which unladen does not exceed 400 kilograms —
 
(a)pro-rated on a per minute basis at the rate of 10 cents per half hour (between 7 a.m. and 10.30 p.m.), or 65 cents per day (between 7 a.m. and 10.30 p.m.), whichever is the lower.
 
(b)pro-rated on a per minute basis at the rate of 10 cents per half hour (between 10.30 p.m. and 7 a.m. the following day), or 65 cents per night (between 10.30 p.m. and 7 a.m. the following day), whichever is the lower.
 
(c)$15 per month.
 
   (3)  For a motor cycle or a motor scooter occupying 2 motor cycle parking lots and the weight of which unladen does not exceed 400 kilograms —
 
(a)pro-rated on a per minute basis at the rate of 20 cents per half hour (between 7 a.m. and 10.30 p.m.), or $1.30 per day (between 7 a.m. and 10.30 p.m.), whichever is the lower.
 
(b)pro-rated on a per minute basis at the rate of 20 cents per half hour (between 10.30 p.m. and 7 a.m. the following day), or $1.30 per night (between 10.30 p.m. and 7 a.m. the following day), whichever is the lower.
 
(c)$30 per month.
 
   (4)  For a motor vehicle (not being a motor car) the weight of which unladen exceeds 1,800 kilograms —
 
(a)Mondays to Fridays:
 
(i)pro-rated on a per minute basis at the rate of $2.40 per half hour (between 7 a.m. and 11 a.m.).
 
(ii)pro-rated on a per minute basis at the rate of $3 per half hour (between 11 a.m. and 5 p.m.).
 
(iii)pro-rated on a per minute basis at the rate of $1.20 per half hour (between 5 p.m. and 10.30 p.m.).
 
(iv)pro-rated on a per minute basis at the rate of $1.20 per half hour (between 10.30 p.m. and 7 a.m. the following day), or $10 per entry per night (between 10.30 p.m. and 7 a.m. the following day), whichever is the lower.
 
(b)Saturdays:
 
(i)pro-rated on a per minute basis at the rate of $2.40 per half hour (between 7 a.m. and 5 p.m.).
 
(ii)pro-rated on a per minute basis at the rate of $1.20 per half hour (between 5 p.m. and 10.30 p.m.).
 
(iii)pro-rated on a per minute basis at the rate of $1.20 per half hour (between 10.30 p.m. and 7 a.m. the following day), or $10 per entry per night (between 10.30 p.m. and 7 a.m. the following day), whichever is the lower.
 
(c)Sundays and Public Holidays:
 
(i)pro-rated on a per minute basis at the rate of $1.20 per half hour (between 7 a.m. and 10.30 p.m.).
 
(ii)pro-rated on a per minute basis at the rate of $1.20 per half hour (between 10.30 p.m. and 7 a.m. the following day), or $10 per entry per night (between 10.30 p.m. and 7 a.m. the following day), whichever is the lower.

Parking Charges:
 
   (1)  For a motor car or a motor vehicle the weight of which unladen does not exceed 1,800 kilograms —
 
(a)Mondays to Fridays:
 
(i)pro-rated on a per minute basis at the rate of 60 cents per half hour (between 7 a.m. and 11 a.m.).
 
(ii)pro-rated on a per minute basis at the rate of 75 cents per half hour (between 11 a.m. and 5 p.m.).
 
(iii)pro-rated on a per minute basis at the rate of 60 cents per half hour (between 5 p.m. and 10.30 p.m.).
 
(iv)pro-rated on a per minute basis at the rate of 60 cents per half hour (between 10.30 p.m. and 7 a.m. the following day), or $5 per entry per night (between 10.30 p.m. and 7 a.m. the following day), whichever is the lower.
 
(b)Saturdays, Sundays and Public Holidays:
 
(i)pro-rated on a per minute basis at the rate of 60 cents per half hour (between 7 a.m. and 10.30 p.m.).
 
(ii)pro-rated on a per minute basis at the rate of 60 cents per half hour (between 10.30 p.m. and 7 a.m. the following day), or $5 per entry per night (between 10.30 p.m. and 7 a.m. the following day), whichever is the lower.

(i)pro-rated on a per minute basis at the rate of $1.20 per half hour (between 7 a.m. and 10.30 p.m.).

(c)$130 per month where the parking place is located within 3 kilometres of the nearest housing estate.
 
(d)$120 per month where the parking place is located beyond 3 kilometres of the nearest housing estate.
 
   (5)  For a trailer or crane the weight of which unladen exceeds 20,000 kilograms, $130 per month.”.
