(Performances and Other Activities —
Control Order) (Amendment No. 4)
Regulations 2021

In exercise of the powers conferred by section 34(1) of the COVID‑19 (Temporary Measures) Act 2020, the Minister for Health makes the following Regulations:

Citation and commencement

1. These Regulations are the COVID‑19 (Temporary Measures) (Performances and Other Activities — Control Order) (Amendment No. 4) Regulations 2021 and come into operation on 8 May 2021.

New regulation 4A

2. Part 2 of the COVID‑19 (Temporary Measures) (Performances and Other Activities — Control Order) Regulations 2020 (G.N. No. S 927/2020) (called in these Regulations the principal Regulations) is amended by inserting, immediately before regulation 5, the following regulation:

“Approval needed for live performance

4A. A person staging a live performance that —

(a)	is staged on or after 8 May 2021;
(b)	is not a rehearsal; and
(c)	is attended or likely to be attended by more than 50 seated audience members at the same time in a single undivided enclosed or unenclosed space in a live performance venue,

must not intentionally or negligently cause or allow the live performance to take place without the prior approval of the approving authority.”.

Amendment of regulation 13

3. Regulation 13(1) of the principal Regulations is amended by deleting “750” in sub‑paragraph (a)(i) and substituting “250”.

Amendment of regulation 14

4. Regulation 14(1) of the principal Regulations is amended by deleting “8” in sub‑paragraph (a) and substituting “5”.
