(Amendment) Notification 2024

In exercise of the powers conferred by section 63(2) of the Road Traffic Act 1961, the Minister for Transport makes the following Notification:

Citation and commencement

1. This Notification is the Road Traffic (Restriction of Speed on Roads) (Amendment) Notification 2024 and comes into operation on 10 January 2024.

Amendment of Second Schedule

2. In the Road Traffic (Restriction of Speed on Roads) Notification (N 6), in the Second Schedule, in Part 1, after “Upavon Road.”, insert —

“Upper Changi Road East — that part of the slip road from Upper Changi Road East, between lamp post No. 97S1 and lamp post No. 97S8, in the direction towards the eastbound Pan Island Expressway.”.

Amendment of Third Schedule

3. In the Road Traffic (Restriction of Speed on Roads) Notification, in the Third Schedule, after “Tampines Street 31.”, insert —

“Tampines Viaduct — that part of Tampines Viaduct between lamp post No. 63A and lamp post No. V33/7F, in the direction towards Upper Changi Road East.”.
