(Amendment of First Schedule) Order 2023

In exercise of the powers conferred by section 82(1) of the Prisons Act 1933, the Minister for Home Affairs makes the following Order:

Citation and commencement

1. This Order is the Prisons Act 1933 (Amendment of First Schedule) Order 2023 and comes into operation on 28 July 2023.

Amendment of First Schedule

2. In the Prisons Act 1933, in the First Schedule, in item 9, after paragraph (90), insert —

“(90A)

Section 424B

Fraud by false representation, non‑disclosure or abuse of position

one year

Ditto”.
