Notification 2022

In exercise of the powers conferred by section 36(1) of the Interpretation Act 1965, the Minister for Home Affairs, with the approval of the President, makes the following Notification:

Citation and commencement

1. This Notification is the Interpretation (Delegation of Powers — Ministry of Home Affairs) (Miscellaneous Amendments) Notification 2022 and comes into operation on 29 May 2022.

Amendment of Delegation of Powers (Ministry of Home Affairs) Notification 2005

2. In paragraph 2 of the Delegation of Powers (Ministry of Home Affairs) Notification 2005 (G.N. No. S 818/2005) —

(a)	in sub‑paragraph (c), replace the semi-colon at the end with a full‑stop; and
(b)	delete sub‑paragraph (e).

Amendment of Interpretation (Delegation of Powers — Ministry of Home Affairs) Notification 2014

3. In the Interpretation (Delegation of Powers — Ministry of Home Affairs) Notification 2014 (G.N. No. S 723/2014), in the Schedule, in item 1, in the second column, replace paragraph (h) with —

“(h)	Section 3(1) of the Registration of Births and Deaths Act 2021.”.
