Slaughter-houses and Meat Processing Factories Act

Slaughter-houses (Fees) (Amendment) Rules 1997

In exercise of the powers conferred by section 14 of the Slaughter-houses and Meat Processing Factories Act, the Minister for National Development hereby makes the following Rules:

Citation and commencement

1. These Rules may be cited as the Slaughter-houses (Fees) (Amendment) Rules 1997 and shall come into operation on 1st April 1997.

Amendment of rule 2

2. Rule 2 of the Slaughter-houses (Fees) Rules (R 3) is amended by deleting paragraphs (b) and (c) and substituting the following paragraphs:

“

(b)	for a livestock slaughter-house licence

$4,000 per annum

(c)	for renewal of a livestock slaughter-house licence

$1,200 per annum

”.
