Workplace Safety and Health
(Construction) (Amendment)
Regulations 2013

In exercise of the powers conferred by section 65 of the Workplace Safety and Health Act, Mr Tan Chuan-Jin, Senior Minister of State, charged with the responsibility of the Minister for Manpower, hereby makes the following Regulations:

Citation and commencement

1. These Regulations may be cited as the Workplace Safety and Health (Construction) (Amendment) Regulations 2013 and shall come into operation on 1st May 2013.

Amendment of regulation 2

2. Regulation 2 of the Workplace Safety and Health (Construction) Regulations 2007 (G.N. No. S 663/2007) (referred to in these Regulations as the principal Regulations) is amended by deleting the words “by way of trade or for purposes of gain” in the definition of “worksite”.

Amendment of regulation 10

3. Regulation 10 of the principal Regulations is amended —

(a)	by inserting, at the end of paragraph (e), the word “and”;
(b)	by deleting the word “; and” at the end of paragraph (f) and substituting a full-stop; and
(c)	by deleting paragraph (g).

Deletion of regulations 22, 23 and 31

4. Regulations 22, 23 and 31 of the principal Regulations are deleted.

Deletion of Part VI

5. Part VI of the principal Regulations is deleted.
