(Amendment) Order 2023

In exercise of the powers conferred by section 8 of the Air Navigation Act 1966, the Civil Aviation Authority of Singapore, with the approval of the Minister for Transport, makes the following Order:

Citation and commencement

1. This Order is the Air Navigation (Amendment) Order 2023 and comes into operation on 1 March 2023.

Amendment of paragraph 2

2. In paragraph 2 of the Air Navigation Order (O 2) (called in this Order the principal Order) —

(a)	in sub‑paragraph (1) (definition of “aerodrome certificate”), replace “paragraph 67 to a person to operate an aerodrome, subsequent to the acceptance of the aerodrome manual” with “regulation 6 of the Air Navigation (139 — Aerodromes) Regulations 2023 (G.N. No. S 10/2023), which authorises the holder of the certificate to operate an aerodrome”;
(b)	in sub‑paragraph (1), delete the definitions of “aerodrome facility and equipment”, “aerodrome manual”, “certified heliport”, “heliport”, “heliport certificate”, “heliport manual”, “heliport operator” and “Manual of Aerodrome Standards”;
(c)	in sub‑paragraph (1) (definition of “notified”), in sub‑paragraph (a), delete sub‑paragraph (iv); and
(d)	delete sub‑paragraph (7).

Amendment of Part X heading

3. In Part X of the principal Order, in the Part heading, delete “HELIPORTS,”.

Deletion of paragraphs 67 to 67L and 69

4. Delete paragraphs 67 to 67L and 69 of the principal Order.

Amendment of paragraph 72B

5. In paragraph 72B(1) of the principal Order, replace “paragraph 67(4)” with “regulation 6 of the Air Navigation (139 — Aerodromes) Regulations 2023”.

Amendment of paragraph 85

6. In paragraph 85 of the principal Order, replace “paragraphs 67 and 68” with “paragraph 68”.

Amendment of paragraph 88

7. In paragraph 88 of the principal Order —

(a)	in sub‑paragraph (1)(d), insert “or” at the end;
(b)	in sub‑paragraph (1), delete sub‑paragraph (f); and
(c)	in sub‑paragraph (2A), delete sub‑paragraph (f).

Amendment of paragraph 88D

8. In paragraph 88D of the principal Order, delete sub‑paragraph (f).

Amendment of Twelfth Schedule

9. In the Twelfth Schedule to the principal Order, delete paragraphs 21 (including the paragraph heading) and 21A.

Amendment of Thirteenth Schedule

10. In the Thirteenth Schedule to the principal Order —

(a)

in Part A, delete —

“Paragraph 67A(1).

Paragraph 67G.

Paragraph 69.”; and

(b)

in Part B, delete —

“Paragraph 67(1).

Paragraph 67C.

Paragraph 67E(2) and (3).

Paragraph 67F.

Paragraph 67H.

Paragraph 67I.

Paragraph 67J(1) and (2).

Paragraph 67K.

Paragraph 67L(2).”.

Deletion of Eighteenth Schedule

11. Delete the Eighteenth Schedule to the principal Order.
