(Amendment No. 2)
Regulations 2023

In exercise of the powers conferred by section 49 of the Building Control Act 1989, the Minister for National Development makes the following Regulations:

Citation and commencement

1. These Regulations are the Building Control (Amendment No. 2) Regulations 2023 and come into operation on 8 December 2023.

Amendment of regulation 42

2. In the Building Control Regulations 2003 (G.N. No. S 666/2003), in regulation 42(2) —

(a)	in sub‑paragraph (fa), after “approvals,”, insert “certificates,”;
(b)	in sub‑paragraph (fa)(iv), replace “or approvals” with “, approvals or certificates”; and
(c)	in sub‑paragraph (fa)(iv), replace “and Parking Places Act 1974” with “, Parking Places Act 1974 and Electric Vehicles Charging Act 2022”.

Amendment of regulation 43

3. In the Building Control Regulations 2003, in regulation 43(3)(ca), after “approvals,”, insert “certificates,”.
