Weights and Measures
(Fees) (Amendment)
Regulations 2022

In exercise of the powers conferred by section 37 of the Weights and Measures Act 1975, the Minister for Trade and Industry makes the following Regulations:

Citation and commencement

1. These Regulations are the Weights and Measures (Fees) (Amendment) Regulations 2022 and come into operation on 21 November 2022.

Amendment of Schedule

2. In the Schedule to the Weights and Measures (Fees) Regulations 2005 (G.N. No. S 847/2005), in item 3, replace paragraph (a) with —

“(a)	every weighing instrument with weighing capacity —

(i)	not exceeding one tonne

(ii)	exceeding one tonne but not exceeding 30 tonnes

$25

(iii)

exceeding 30 tonnes but not exceeding 60 tonnes

$500

(iv)	exceeding 60 tonnes

$1,000”.
