Immigration (Exemption from Singapore Visa)
(Amendment) Order 2024
In exercise of the powers conferred by section 56 of the Immigration Act 1959, the Minister for Home Affairs makes the following Order:
Citation and commencement
1.—(1)  This Order is the Immigration (Exemption from Singapore Visa) (Amendment) Order 2024 and, except for paragraph 3, comes into operation on 9 February 2024.
(2)  Paragraph 3 is deemed to have come into operation on 31 December 2021.
Amendment of paragraph 2
2.  In the Immigration (Exemption from Singapore Visa) Order (O 4), in paragraph 2(1), after sub‑paragraph (gf), insert —
(gg)a non‑citizen (excluding a non‑citizen holding a pass that entitles him or her to enter Singapore multiple times) who —
(i)holds a valid ordinary passport issued by the government of the People’s Republic of China; and
(ii)is travelling to Singapore for an attendance not exceeding 30 days;”.
Miscellaneous amendments
3.  In the Immigration (Exemption from Singapore Visa) Order, in paragraph 2(2) —
(a)in sub‑paragraph (a), replace “(Cap. 145)” with “1948”; and
(b)in sub‑paragraph (b), replace “(Cap. 82A)” with “2005”.
