(Amendment) Rules 2021

In exercise of the powers conferred by section 48(1) of the Road Traffic Act, the Minister for Home Affairs makes the following Rules:

Citation and commencement

1. These Rules are the Road Traffic (Competency Tests) (Amendment) Rules 2021 and come into operation on 1 October 2021.

Amendment of rule 6

2. Rule 6(3) of the Road Traffic (Competency Tests) Rules 2021 (G.N. No. S 432/2021) is amended by deleting the words “30 September 2021” in sub‑paragraph (b)(i) and substituting the words “31 December 2021”.

Amendment of rule 7

3. Rule 7 of the Road Traffic (Competency Tests) Rules 2021 is amended —

(a)	by deleting the words “30 September 2021” in paragraph (a) and substituting the words “31 December 2021”; and
(b)	by deleting the words “1 October 2021” in paragraph (b) and substituting the words “1 January 2022”.
