Public Entertainment (Amendment) Rules 1998

In exercise of the powers conferred by section 20(1) of the Public Entertainments Act, the Minister for Home Affairs hereby makes the following Rules:

Citation and commencement

1. These Rules may be cited as the Public Entertainment (Amendment) Rules 1998 and shall come into operation on 14th February 1998.

Amendment of rule 6

2. Rule 6(g) of the Public Entertainment Rules (R 1) is amended —

(a)

by deleting the word “and” at the end of sub-paragraph (i); and

(b)

by inserting, at the end of sub-paragraph (ii) the word “and” and by inserting immediately thereafter the following sub-paragraph:

“(iii)

at the rate of $10 per month for any entertainment approved by the National Arts Council;”.
