Income Tax (Approved Banks) (Consolidation) (Amendment) Order 1997

In exercise of the powers conferred by section 13(9) of the Income Tax Act, the Minister for Finance hereby makes the following Order:

Citation and commencement

1. This Order may be cited as the Income Tax (Approved Banks) (Consolidation) (Amendment) Order 1997 and shall be deemed to have come into operation on 28th July 1997.

Amendment of Consolidation Order

2. The Income Tax (Approved Banks) (Consolidation) Order (O 32A) is amended by deleting the words “ABN AMRO (Asia) Ltd.” and substituting the words “ABN AMRO Hoare Govett Merchant Bank (Singapore) Ltd.”.
