Misuse of Drugs
(Controlled Equipment, Material and
Substances) (Amendment) Regulations 2023

In exercise of the powers conferred by section 10B of the Misuse of Drugs Act 1973, the Minister for Home Affairs makes the following Regulations:

Citation and commencement

1.—(1) These Regulations are the Misuse of Drugs (Controlled Equipment, Material and Substances) (Amendment) Regulations 2023 and, except for regulation 2(a), come into operation on 1 June 2023.

(2) Regulation 2(a) is deemed to have come into operation on 31 December 2021.

Amendment of regulation 12

2. In the Misuse of Drugs (Controlled Equipment, Material and Substances) Regulations (Rg 7), in regulation 12(4) —

(a)	replace “(Cap. 68)” with “2010”; and
(b)	replace “All offences under these Regulations shall be seizable offences” with “Every offence under these Regulations is an arrestable offence”.
