Parking Places (Housing and Development Board) (Amendment) Order 2004

In exercise of the powers conferred by section 9 of the Parking Places Act, the Minister for Transport hereby makes the following Order:

Citation and commencement

1. This Order may be cited as the Parking Places (Housing and Development Board) (Amendment) Order 2004 and shall come into operation on 1st May 2004.

Amendment of Schedule

2. The following provisions of the Schedule to the Parking Places (Housing and Development Board) Order 2000 (G.N. No. S 440/2000) set out in the first column are amended in the manner set out in the second column thereof:

(a) Part I

Insert, immediately after item (3), the following item:

“(4) For a motor vehicle (not being a motor car) the weight of which unladen exceeds 1,500 kilograms but does not exceed 2,000 kilograms —

(a)

Mondays to Saturdays:

(i)	$2 per half hour or part thereof (between 7 a.m. and 5 p.m.).
(ii)	$1 per half hour or part thereof (between 5 p.m. and 10.30 p.m.).

(b)

Sundays and Public Holidays:

$1 per half hour or part thereof (between 7 a.m. and 10.30 p.m.).

(c)

$185 per month.”.

(b) Parts II, IV, VI, X, XVIII and XIX

Insert, immediately after item (3), the following item:

“(4) For a motor vehicle (not being a motor car) the weight of which unladen exceeds 1,500 kilograms but does not exceed 2,000 kilograms —

(a)	$1 per half hour or part thereof (between 7 a.m. and 10.30 p.m.).
(b)	$185 per month.”.

Insert, immediately after item (4), the following item:

“(5) For a motor vehicle (not being a motor car) the weight of which unladen exceeds 1,500 kilograms but does not exceed 2,000 kilograms —

(a)	$1 per half hour or part thereof (between 7 a.m. and 10.30 p.m.).
(b)	$185 per month.”.
