(Amendment) Regulations 2023

In exercise of the powers conferred by section 77(1) of the Central Provident Fund Act 1953, the Minister for Manpower, after consulting with the Central Provident Fund Board, makes the following Regulations:

Citation and commencement

1. These Regulations are the Central Provident Fund (New Retirement Sum Scheme) (Amendment) Regulations 2023 and come into operation on 1 June 2023.

Amendment of regulations 8A, 9, 10, 10B and 10C

2. In the Central Provident Fund (New Retirement Sum Scheme) Regulations (Rg 31), in the following provisions, replace “$250” with “$350”:

Regulation 8A(4A) and (5)

Regulation 9(2)(a)(i) and (b) and (3)(a)(i) and (b)

Regulation 10(1) and (2)

Regulation 10B(4)

Regulation 10C(2).
