(INVEST Plan) (Amendment)
Regulations 2023

In exercise of the powers conferred by section 3 of the Home Affairs Uniformed Services Superannuation Act 2001, the Minister for Home Affairs makes the following Regulations:

Citation and commencement

1. These Regulations are the Home Affairs Uniformed Services (INVEST Plan) (Amendment) Regulations 2023 and are deemed to have come into operation on 31 December 2021.

Miscellaneous amendments

2. In the Home Affairs Uniformed Services (INVEST Plan) Regulations (Rg 2) —

(a)

in regulation 2(1), in the definition of “Award Appeal Authority”, replace “section 21(3)” with “section 23(3)”;

(b)

in the following provisions, replace “(Cap. 36)” with “1953”:

Regulation 2(1), definition of “Central Provident Fund” or “CPF”

Regulation 23A;

(c)

in regulation 2(1), in the definition of “discharge from the Police Force”, replace “(Cap. 235)” with “2004”;

(d)

in the following provisions, replace “(Cap. 225)” with “1956”:

Regulation 2(1), definition of “previous pensionable service”

Regulation 19(1) and (3)

Regulation 23(1)(b)

Regulation 24(2)(b)

Regulation 33;

(e)

in regulation 19(1), after “purposes of the Pensions Act”, insert “1956”;

(f)

in regulation 19(3), after “section 3(4)(a) of the Pensions Act”, insert “1956”;

(g)

in regulation 19(5), in the definition of “Home Team Science and Technology Agency”, delete “(Act 21 of 2019)”;

(h)

in regulation 20(1A)(b), replace “(Cap. 177A)” with “2008”;

(i)

in regulation 23(2), replace “(Cap. 93)” with “1970”; and

(j)

in regulation 26(4), delete “(Act 27 of 2019)”.
