Poisons Act 1938
Poisons (Amendment No. 2) Rules 2022
In exercise of the powers conferred by section 20 of the Poisons Act 1938, the Minister for Health makes the following Rules:
Citation and commencement
1.  These Rules are the Poisons (Amendment No. 2) Rules 2022 and come into operation on 1 August 2022.
Amendment of rule 14
2.  In rule 14 of the Poisons Rules (R 1) —
(a)in paragraph (a), replace sub-paragraph (ii) with —
(ii)any poison specified in the first or second column of Group II of the Second Schedule when contained in or consisting of the article or substance specified opposite that poison in the third column;”; and
(b)replace paragraph (c) with —
(c)a holder of a manufacturer’s licence for a health product under the Health Products Act 2007 who imports a substance specified in the First Schedule, if that substance is required for the manufacture of the health product.”.

3.  In the Second Schedule to the Poisons Rules, replace Group II with —
