Societies (Amendment) Regulations 1999

In exercise of the powers conferred by section 34 of the Societies Act, the Minister for Home Affairs hereby makes the following Regulations:

Citation and commencement

1. These Regulations may be cited as the Societies (Amendment) Regulations 1999 and shall come into operation on 1st January 2000.

Amendment of regulation 10

2. Regulation 10(1) of the Societies Regulations (Rg 1, 1999 Ed.) is amended —

(a)	by deleting “$25” in sub-paragraph (b) and substituting “$40”;
(b)	by deleting “$55” in sub-paragraph (c) and substituting “$70”;
(c)	by deleting “$125” in sub-paragraph (d) and substituting “$130”; and
(d)	by deleting “$35” in sub-paragraph (e) and substituting “$40”.

Amendment of regulation 11

3. Regulation 11 of the Societies Regulations is amended —

(a)	by deleting “$35” in item (a) and substituting “$40”;
(b)	by deleting “$5” in item (b) and substituting “$10”; and
(c)	by deleting “$10” in item (c) and substituting “$20”.
