Companies (Winding Up)
(Amendment) Rules 2018
In exercise of the powers conferred by section 410 of the Companies Act, we, the Rules Committee, constituted under the Supreme Court of Judicature Act (Cap. 322), make the following Rules:
Citation and commencement
1.  These Rules are the Companies (Winding Up) (Amendment) Rules 2018 and come into operation on 1 February 2018.
Amendment of rule 101
2.  Rule 101 of the Companies (Winding Up) Rules (R 1) is amended by deleting paragraph (6).
Saving provision
3.  Despite rule 2, rule 101(6) of the Companies (Winding Up) Rules as in force immediately before 1 February 2018 continues to apply in relation to any request made before that date, by a person to whom a dividend is payable, for the transmission of the dividend to that person by post.
